International Awards: Tushar Unadkat

Tushar Unadkat has received numerous awards and accolades for his outstanding contributions and achievements. LMP awarded him the 2023 International Artist of the Year Award.

In 2019, he was a finalist for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award from RBC Top 25 Awards, Canada. The same year, he was honored as one of the “Men of Honour” by Canada’s Top Choice Council. In 2017, he received the “Torch of Seva” at the Vadodara International Marathon in India.

Tushar Unadkat’s notable achievements include a House of Commons Citation from the Government of Canada in 2016 and a finalist for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Award in 2014. In 2012, he received the Trailblazer Award at the ReelWorld Film Festival in Canada and the Outstanding Popularity Award from the Shree Raghuvanshi Lohana Community in India.

His impact on the community was recognized in 2011 when he was nominated for the “Community Impact” category in the NOTABLE Canadian awards by Notable.ca. Tushar Unadkat has received awards from various organizations, including the Mahajati Gujarati Community Award from Gujarat Abroad Publishings Inc. in 2008, the Award for Excellence in 2007 from SSN (Social Services Networks), Canada, and the Pride of Gujarat “Hollywood Art Director” award from Feelings Publications in India.

In 2006, he was nominated for the New Pioneers Award for his commendable contribution to the Canadian community as an immigrant by Skills for Change, Canada. Tushar Unadkat was recognized as a ReelWorld Trail Blazer nominee at The ReelWorld Film Festival in Canada in 2005. Additionally, he received a City Council Citation from The Council of The City of New York, USA, in 2002.

His achievements extend to international recognition in the field of photography, with semi-finalist placements in the International Photography Contest in 2002 and 2001, as well as receiving the Millennium Award from Bedworth Council, England, in 2000. Tushar Unadkat was nominated for the BBC Asia Awards 1999 for “Achievement in Film & Arts.” The same year, he received the Stevenson Scholarship Award from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. 1998, he was honored with the Graduate Council Award from the University of Dundee, Scotland. In 1995, he received the Vishwamitri Award from India’s Vishwamitri Art Photography & Cultural Center.
